Background

Work and education

My professional experience has taken me through operational environments, technical support, endpoint troubleshooting, business systems, and the everyday coordination required to keep technology useful for the people relying on it.

Alongside that work, I am completing a bachelor’s degree in computer science and continuing to develop my knowledge of networks, Linux, cloud computing, and security. The combination gives me two perspectives I value: the practical needs in front of a user and the deeper systems operating behind the screen.

I document some of that hands-on learning in my lab, including security writeups and technical notes that show how I work through unfamiliar subjects and problems.

Technical interests

What I am studying and working with

My current interests center on infrastructure, security, and practical technical problem solving.

Systems & infrastructure

Understanding how networks, operating systems, cloud services, and physical technology fit together.

Security

Building practical security knowledge through structured study, labs, and careful documentation.

Building & troubleshooting

Learning by working through real problems, testing ideas, and improving the result one step at a time.

Outside of work

More about me

When I'm not working, I'm an avid music lover and multi-instrumentalist (mostly guitar and keys). I love diving into new hobbies. My latest project is building a custom telescope and camera setup for astrophotography! I also enjoy hiking and exploring the incredible ecological diversity of the Las Vegas Valley. I'm always on the lookout for my next challenge, especially if it involves tinkering with complex technological systems.
